A joiner to trade, Edward has over 27 years experience in the industry carrying out commercial contracts throughout Scotland such as high-quality office interiors, financial establishments and new schools. From 2004 Eddie focused on private residential new-build homes from grand-design luxury one-off homes to large private residential development.

Eddie has a passion for constructing quality, spacious, durable housing that is above all else, affordable. The pursuit of innovative, cost-effective house construction has led Eddie to team up with Mike to pursue the huge benefits of off-site manufacture for house building.

An Engineer to trade, Mike spent his early career in the water industry, in an operational role before moving into design management and eventually construction management for several large national and international companies. In 2013 Mike moved from industrial construction and into house construction by forming a House Building company with his business partner Eddie. Since 2015, Mike has sought to improve house construction through better design, innovative construction techniques, processes and materials with a clear focus on greater off-site manufacture of house components to improve efficiency, cost and quality.

Michael studied Architectural Technology at the University of Highlands and Islands in Inverness, after completing his bachelor’s degree. He joined Timber Engineering UK as an Architectural Technician in 2022. Michael has a passion to improve the function and sustainability of housing design. Michael is immersed in the day to day architectural design elements of house design with a strong focus on energy performance and sustainability.
