The Timber Transformation competition has showcased the incredible talent of young minds across Dundee, Angus and Perth. After weeks of creativity, teamwork and innovation, the Bellrock Builders of Tomorrow from Arbroath Academy have taken home the top prize in this year’s eco-house design challenge!
A Competition Like No Other
Hosted by Timber Engineering UK in partnership with DYW Tay Cities, Timber Transformation challenged students to design and build sustainable homes with the wow factor. With 73 teams and over 700 pupils participating, the competition was fierce but the enthusiasm and dedication were unmatched!
Celebrating the Winners
The Bellrock Builders of Tomorrow impressed the judges with their thoughtful approach to sustainability, innovative design and passion for eco-friendly housebuilding. Their hard work earned them ÂŁ500 for their school, along with the admiration of industry experts.
A special mention also goes to the Eco-Dragons from Baldragon Academy, who received a highly commended award for their outstanding efforts!
